Thanks to Dr. Ginger Savely

What a great turnout we had Saturday. 60+ people! Thank you to all who attended. I hope this is an sample of what is to come through our outreach. We are finding more and more who suffer with Lyme and are seeking answers, and the word is getting out about our group as I am receiving a greater number of emails each month.

A special thanks to Dr. Ginger Savely for giving up her Saturday to provide us with Lyme education. I especially was grateful for her clear and precise explanation of how to interpret the iGenex test. Other topics included “Why it is so difficult to get a correct diagnosis”, “Specific symptoms of Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, Ehrlicea & other co-infections”, and “The difference in acute (early stages) and disseminated Lyme (late stages”.  Education is key!

We are hoping to have her come speak again in 2013, but we need the funds to do so. If you haven’t donated but would like to, you may visit our website at NTXLyme.org. Then, click the donation button at the bottom of the webpage. A free bracelet with every donation of $5 or more.

What to look forward to in the upcoming months:

March 17

We have our first ever Meet & Greet where we can all come together and mingle with others who have our same experiences. Lets take this opportunity to learn from one another. We will also have a short budget meeting.

April 21

We will have Wendi Kai visit us to do an art therapy session, that will be followed up with a round-table discussion. What fun! We need a little fun in our lives. Men, don’t be shy! You can come, too.

May 19

We will, yet again, welcome Mary Barnes who is a Lyme sufferer and has come through to the other side-Health. She is a plethora of useful information. You won’t want to miss this time with her. Education is the key!
